It's not very often that I'm asked to shoot another photographer. On top of that, it's not very often that photographer is in a relationship with your sister. /(O_o)/
It's a real pleasure to do so because I feel the most at ease shooting one of my best friends (and fellow photographer) and my sister. I'm not afraid to try anything I want to do! I'm learning more and my as time goes on that those usually make some of my best shoots to date. That is definitely the case with this shoot for me. What a blessing to have some weirdo friends who don't care what you try, as long as they get a good photo out of it. This is one of my top favorites from this year. Enjoy!
I met Phillip a few years ago through his sister Jennie's wedding (yes, the same Jennie of Luke & Jennie). Phillip is an automotive mechanic who is interested in pursuing diesel mechanics at Lincoln Tech. He's straightforward and down to earth. It's always an enjoyable process to try to translate a personality into photos. Phillip and his family made it a real pleasure.
It was a perfect day for family photos. It was my second year shooting for the Thifault's, but this time it was a double shoot because we added in Luke's senior photos as well. I was so pleased with how they all turned out. They are a very loving, tight-knit family with a great property for shooting on. These are just of a few of my favorites out of the many I ended up delivering this year.
