Snowed In

Along with finishing a number of projects and responding to emails I have been behind on, being snowed in for the last three days with arctic temperatures has also given me some more free time to read, play board games and instruments with the fam, and to sketch with my wife. Sketching is something we both want focus more on this year in particular.
I started with a fun photo I nabbed of dad at the beginning of the storm. Next the sketch. Then this morning I thought I'd try to fix the proportions when I noticed his nose was too long... And then thought I'd try to mix 'em together. Mwahaha. It's given me some more ideas to try out later. Maybe even later this week if the weather stays this way? We shall see.
